A Grand Celebration of Sufi Music and Spiritual Unity, Graced by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India. New Delhi, 3rd March 2025: The 25th edition of Jahan-e-Khusrau, India’s most celebrated World Sufi Music Festival, concluded its three-day extravaganza at Sunder Nursery, New Delhi, leaving audiences spellbound with its mesmerizing performances, soul-stirring poetry, and timeless spiritual resonance.

The Silver Jubilee edition of the festival was inaugurated by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, who praised the profound cultural and spiritual legacy of Hazrat Amir Khusro and highlighted the festival’s role in uniting people through music and devotion. In attendance were esteemed dignitaries, including Shri Vinai Kumar Saxena, Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Minu Bakshi, Neena Puri, and other eminent personalities from the worlds of politics, art, and culture.

The festival unfolded with spellbinding performances that seamlessly blended classical Sufi traditions with contemporary interpretations, offering a soulful homage to Hazrat Amir Khusro, Baba Bulleh Shah, and other mystic poets. The immersive experience extended beyond music, with The TEH Bazaar, a meticulously curated craft exhibition showcasing India’s rare and exquisite heritage crafts, as well as engaging literary discussions and film screenings that explored the deep interconnections between Sufi thought, poetry, and music.
