New Delhi, October 9, 2024 – The elegant halls of CCA Bikaner House welcomed art enthusiasts to “Unwritten Letters,” a twin solo exhibition by artists Ganesh Gohain and Santana Gohain, presented by Gallery Art Positive. Gallery Art Positive’s CEO, Anu Bajaj, expressed her pride in presenting these artists: “Ganesh and Santana Gohain offer viewers pieces that deeply resonate with personal and universal themes of light, time, and narrative.”
The Artists
Ganesh Gohain: Ganesh Gohain’s work explores “Time & Light,” focusing on the interplay of tangibility and intangibility. His practice, which spans painting, sculpture, installation, and photography, creates a psychological engagement with diverse façades. Ganesh’s work invites viewers to interact, shifting dimensions based on perspective. Recognized internationally, he has been an Artist in Residence at the Glasgow School of Art and has received the Charles Wallace Fellowship and French Government Scholarship. Ganesh shares, “Light plays a pivotal role in my work, encapsulating my journey and experiences.”
Santana Gohain: Santana’s art is rooted in “Mark-Making,” where she uses materials like acrylic, pastel, and graphite to push the boundaries of traditional art forms. Her work is deeply personal, inspired by nature, travel, and her experiences, symbolizing communication across human history. “Creating marks is essential to the image,” she explains. Her pieces balance realism with abstraction, becoming “objects” that depend on the viewer’s perspective for interpretation.Gallery Art Positive Since its founding in 2005,
