Kalabimb-24: Interconnected Realities through Art
Kalabimb-24 was launched on June 22, 2024, at the Visual Art Gallery, India Habitat Center, New Delhi. The event saw distinguished guests including Prof. S. Paramjeet Singh as Chief Guest, and Prof. Ghazanfar Zaidi, Prof. Ghufran Kidwai, and S. Dalip Hitkari as Guests of Honour. Prof. S. Paramjeet Singh, a prominent figure in India’s art education and former Chairman of AIFACS, received the Kirorimal Tanwar Memorial KALASTAMBH Lifetime Achievement Award 2024, presented by FAME (Finetouch Art Motivator & Educator) for his outstanding contributions to art. FAME, known for its exhibitions exploring “Interconnected Realities,” organized the event, focusing on the intersection of digital and physical realms. The participating artists explored themes of identity, technology, and the environment, offering insights into modern existence. The exhibition reflected the diverse experiences that define contemporary life.The event celebrated the creativity of 24 established and emerging artists from various states, highlighting their significant contributions to the art world. Esteemed figures like photographer and photojournalist Raghu Rai, eminent artist Vivek Tembe, Amit Kapoor, Megha Handa, Anand Moy Banarji, Ved Prakash Bhardwaj, Aroop Biswas, Uday Shankar, Tirthankar Biswas, and Roop Chand graced the event.Curated by Mr. Ravindra Kumar Tanwar and Ms. Balwinder Tanwar, the exhibition featured a diverse array of contemporary art forms including paintings, digital artworks, photography, and mixed media. The event fostered a vibrant atmosphere of appreciation and creativity among artists, buyers, and art enthusiasts.
