My Chirping Gauraiya

Gauraiya Gauraiya where you have disappeared. I am searching you everywhere. I know we the human are responsible for it by grabbing the land, cutting jungles, creating concrete jungle and many more reasons. People have time for pet walk, stop on the road to feed others but no time to keep water and food for you in their balcony or rooftop. I am still missing you.

Many years ago One day I found one of sparrow fallen from the nest. she was one day old. We were lucky to find this special guest, God had sent to us to save this little one. She was making noise for food and was unable to open her eyes. We started giving milk by cotton buds, later with dropper when she grew a little more may be she was just 15 days old. Slowly she started jumping on our shoulder, heads, ears ets and talking to us in our ears. When ever she was hungry she used to demand food by jumping on my wife’ s head or my younger daughter. She created a space and love for her in our hearts 💕. When she started learning to fly it a real fun to watch her. She used to come in the balcony first the fly to the house opposite us, then come back and ask for food. Slowly she started to venture nearby trees and come back home for food. One day finally she left us happily to enjoy her freedom and life. I still cry for her and look in the sky may be some other Gauraiya will visit us.
